Event Participation & Speed Dating Refund Policy

This policy outlines how Jeter.ai handles refund requests, credits, and goodwill adjustments for Event participation.

1. General Rule: No Refunds Once an Event Has Begun

Fees paid for Events are non-refundable once the Event has commenced. This applies regardless of the number of Rounds completed, match quality, or personal preferences. Refunds will not be issued for:
  • Dissatisfaction with matches or romantic outcomes
  • Fewer completed Rounds due to other participants leaving
  • Personal early departure from an Event
  • Technical issues on the participant’s end

2. Tiered Credit & Goodwill Policy

Where a participant’s experience was significantly impacted by circumstances within Jeter.ai’s influence, we may offer goodwill credits or tokens. These are not contractual obligations but reflect our commitment to fairness.

Completed 5 out of 6 Rounds (or equivalent majority)
Event is considered fulfilled. No compensation is issued. This aligns with industry standards for live speed dating events.

Completed 4 out of 6 Rounds (approximately two-thirds)
Jeter.ai may offer, at its discretion:

  • 1 free compatibility token, or
  • Priority matching placement in a future Event

Completed 3 or Fewer Rounds (less than half)
Jeter.ai may offer a choice of:

  • Complimentary access to a future Event, or
  • A token credit equivalent (e.g., 2–3 tokens)

Refunds are still not guaranteed, but we aim for participants to feel fairly treated.

3. Technical Issues Caused by Jeter.ai

If a technical failure on our end materially prevented your participation, we will:

  • Acknowledge the issue promptly
  • Offer credits, tokens, or re-entry without debate

Please report such issues within 48 hours of the Event.

4. Participant Drop-Offs

If another participant leaves early, causing you to miss Rounds, this is considered a normal aspect of live social events. Refunds are not issued solely due to another participant’s departure. Goodwill credits may be offered at our discretion.

5. Credits & Tokens

Any issued credits, tokens, or complimentary event access will be:

  • Automatically applied to your Jeter.ai account, or
  • Communicated via email or in-app notification

Credits are non-transferable and may carry an expiration date.

6. How to Request a Review

If you believe your event experience warrants a review, contact our support team within 48 hours of the Event, including:

  • The event name and date
  • A brief description of the issue
